*Job Brief: *This a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work at a family-run nursing, dementia & residential care home, located near Witney.

*Key Points*

* A welcoming, small and clean care home which is an older listed building which has been renovated to a high standard for caring for the elderly

* You must hold an active NMC pin with an Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing Qualification
* Caring for patients requiring Palliative, Dementia, Nursing, Residential & Elderly Care.
* Some duties are; creating care plans, medication, catheterisation, taking blood, overseeing care staff, leasing with GPs and relatives and promoting independence
* Hours are Part-time or Full-time (up to 48 hours per week)
* Shifts are 12 hours on a changing rota each week, 07:45 - 20:00 or 20:00 - 07:45, 4 weeks in advance rota and will involve some weekend shifts
* The salary is *£21.00ph* with paid breaks
* Day shift or Night shift contracts are available

The Care Home is small based on its bed count, it is a family-run care home successfully operating privately funded. The building is a welcoming, luxurious and clean care home which has a modern design interior in an older “homely” building.

*Experience & Personal attributes*

* Minimum of 1-year post-qualifying nursing experience
* Ideally, you have experience in; elderly, dementia, and palliative care within a Care Home environment
* A caring and compassionate professional plus, a first-class communicator, enthusiastic & ambitious
* Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices
* Experience in producing well-developed care plans & risk assessments
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks

*Qualifications*

* A Nursing qualification can consider Adult, Learning Disability & Mental Health trained
